Sports Day
Sports Day was a great success, especially as it was our first year at Figheldean! Even though the British Weather has been unpredictable, we at Brambles went ahead and would have completed the Sports Day whether it was raining or not, fully embracing our outdoor focused ethos! Parents got fully involved racing with the prams and 'wellie tossing' to name but a few of the fun activities. Children very much enjoyed the fun day with their friends and finished the day by receiving a medal for taking part.

A Letter from your Chairman
I would like to officially introduce myself to you, my name is Rachel Busby and I am the Chairman to Brambles Pre-School. I am currently finishing a BA HONS Outdoor Adventure Management degree, and have a background in management and outdoor activities. I also now work at St Michaels
C of E Primary School, where we have forged a strong link.
I have always enjoyed the aspect of outdoor learning and the importance of it in any child's education. It helps them gain a practical understanding of the world around them, whilst building self-confidence, testing their abilities leading them to take the managed risks and develop a sense of responsibility and tolerance towards places and people. This is one of the many reasons why I am so passionate about what we do at Brambles.
We have lots of new and exciting projects happening over the holidays, we are installing a new sand - pit, this will be in the shape of a boat! A new music station and walk in mud pit to go with the mud kitchen.
We have a wonderfully supportive committee of parents, who are keen to see the most successful outcome to Brambles. however we are always welcoming new committee members, so if anyone knows of anyone who may be interested please get in touch with us at Brambles.
Thank you for all your continued support,
Rachel Busby, Chairman.
